In addition to proctoring, doing a drawing class, tutoring, and spending time with my boyfriend, I have been working on my website. Here’s what it looks like now (viewing with Safari):
This definitely is not what it will look like in the future. Right now I only have one page, with some basic information and a little bit of color. It’s not written with valid code, so it won’t look like this on mobile phones or with Firefox. But eventually it will be written with valid code and have several pages and an updated aesthetic that matches something I call my “personal logo” … a fish drawing inspired by a necklace my grandmother gave me when I was young. (I wear it everyday; it’s very dear to me.)
I have been planning the page layouts, structure (which pages link to which other pages), and content for my bigger and better website!
It’s definitely been a process. Thankfully I have some great work spaces this summer, including two desks, a table, and public places like tea shops. For some reason it’s best for me to move locations a lot.
I won’t say much more, in the spirit of reserving my creative energies toward this project. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or advice! : )
