Review: Nature’s Tea Leaf’s “Honeybush Rooibus”

I have had a whirlwind of a couple of months that have kept me super busy… and after a long absence from Eudaimonia, Aamuse, and Tea reviewing, I am officially back in business!

Here is a review of Nature’s Tea Leaf’s “Honeybush Rooibus” :

– 1 tablespoon for 8 ounces of water
– 4-5 minutes to steep

Looks like tiny reddish woodchips or sawdust.
Smells lightly of honey and earthiness.
Tastes a little less sweet than it smells. Earthier when hotter, sweeter when cooler.

Health benefits:
– non-caffeinated, herbal
– contains vitamin C, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium, zinc, antioxidants
– relieves cold and flu symptoms
– used to treat menopause
– good for the liver
– limits growth/reproduction of some harmful types of bacteria
