Sometimes when we go out to eat, we want to consume ambiance and service. In which case, the bill’s likely to be on the bigger side. Think Central Square’s famous Craigie on Main. But if you only care about the taste of the food (controlling for price), your best bet is a place with horrible ambiance and service, and overweight, stone-faced people, according to Tyler Cowen (a famous economist and writer).
A place like this, for example, offers great sandwiches and drinks, but has no sitting room. I mean, it barely even has standing room. And the service is … well, let’s just say the ladies behind the counter sound annoyed and bored as a default. But the food and great prices will keep you coming back for more.
Bit of an update: I’ll be doing small posts like this one when I don’t have a lot of time. Some big changes are happening in my life! I will let you know as they happen 🙂
Peace, love, and YUMMINS,
